Scrap yard monitoring
Periodic surveys of scrap yards and slag areas with docked drones and ground robots, turned into a volumetric report ready for inventory, procurement and production.
- Drone photogrammetry: orthophoto and digital surface and terrain models (DSM/DTM)
- Automatic detection of every pile and its outline
- Volume, footprint area, surface area, maximum and average height for each pile
- Material classification for each pile (e.g. mixed ferrous scrap, slag)
- Height map of the yard and cross-sections of the piles
- Georeferenced coordinates and elevations, comparable survey after survey
- Report with a sheet per pile and an inventory summary table
- Ground inspections with quadruped and humanoid robots where the drone cannot reach
